- Take 1 can Pumpkin, 30oz

Steps to make Orange Slop:
- Place Soup ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low heat.
- Place Saute ingredients in a large pan and saute until onions are translucent and mushrooms cooked. Then add to slow cooker.
- Cook bacon in the same pan until it is about half way done (flexible with some fat still on). There should be a good amount of bacon fat in the pan. Remove bacon and break into small pieces.
- Break bread into small pieces and cook in the bacon fat until it has reached desired firmness. I like mine golden / brown with a touch of char. All the while, adding the bacon pieces back into the pan while the bread is cooking. I like my bacon done crispy.
- Once that is done cooking, put the topping into a mixing bowl and mix well.
- When soup has reached desired thickness it is ready to serve. May cook soup on high heat for quicker results. Ladle into bowls and add topping.
